Subject: Woohoo! Picked up an ergonomic keyboard and speakers over lunch. Keyboard works. Yay! Haven't tried the speakers--went and left my music in the car, LOL.

tried to ahve a really early night yesterday, I was so tired, but nothing was making me fall asleep.finally about 9.45 I was drifting away and Pete starts texting, he's so bored with Hastings already - 2nd night of a 7 week stay! Anyway this went for an hour or so, so no early night again.

Couldn't sleep last night myself. The fuckwits downstairs and outside were making a racket again. (This morning, they got slamming doors, the alarm clock, Carmina Burana (opera), Jet, and The Crow soundtrack--lots of dark music there.) I was kind of aware of them in my sleep but able to block them out, except for the fact that they woke the cat and he woke me and so then I got pissed because I couldn't get back to sleep. I HATE those people.

See, the thing I don't get is that there's booze everywhere. He's going to be bored in Hastings and that's just going to encourage him to drink, so that sort of defeats the purpose, don't you think?

I'm going to go suck down some aspirin. Got a headache.

I told him to go home and write or wank, one or the other. 'Great idea, which one shall I do?' told him to wank first then write about it hehehehe.

I can see him just about coping without a heavy session in Hastings, but surely when he comes home for weekends, he'll go even more mental?
