Subject: Morning Miss V! How're you doing today?

I'm trying to figure out how to waste my lunch hour--do I go see Manchurian Candidate or do I part ways with my aggression and go shoot at zombies at the arcade? Decisions, decisions.

Haven't tried the DVD yet--I had to do laundry last night and that pretty much took up my entire evening, darnit. Though, while I was in the laundry room, this amazing guy came in to throw his laundry in the dryer, and then sat and did math homework while waiting. At least, I'm assuming it was math, because he was using a calculator. Beautiful shoulder length light brown hair, scruffy face, nice body--definitely perked up my evening. And he was at least as old as I was, if not a few years older, so good for him for continuing his education. Too bad I was in my 'end of the day, end of the closet' mode so I looked like crap and was dressed in ill-fitting clothes with odd bleached out spots. Just my luck, eh?

--just about done with Bourne Supremacy (I was reading it in the laundry and the guy must have thought I was nuts because I kept reacting to the story, LOL) and I just received a book from another friend that's part of a pretty good series, so Bourne Ultimatum may have to wait for a bit. Sigh....so many books, so much time. ;)

[> Morning:0) I've jst spent 2 hours trying to sort out the staff movie tomorrow, god it gets worse and worse! WE're in the middle of a very violent thunder and lightening storm and guess who left her windows open today? -- vx, 09:22:26 08/03/04 Tue

As for the movie v arcade games, I'd do movie as its cheaper! LOL ain't that the way when you're looking bad, a good looking guy comes along! Maybe next time.

oh and I saw a copy of Jet Live at the Astoria DVD on Ebay, very very cheap, like 2 bucks or something.

As for me, I'd bid on some sort of import cd, got out bid and refused to carry on due to the new responsible me, and guess what? they wrote to me to offer it again as the other person pulled out so waht could I do?

[> [> Oh, no! Well, maybe the rain won't be aimed at your windows and you'll be all right. Gee, way to go, new responsible you, LOL. Guess it worked out in the end--but what were you doing bidding in the first place???? -- Dhvana, 09:27:00 08/03/04 Tue

Really want some Starbucks, but I'm trying to cut caffeine and coffee out of my budget again--mainly because four bucks a day on coffee is ridiculous, and the stuff here is crap. -- Dhvana, 09:56:40 08/03/04 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> All right, one more hour--I can make it that long without coffee, and then I can head off to lunch. I wonder if Seattle's Best Coffee is any cheaper? Probably not. They all think they can charge an arm and a leg, and they're right, because we pay it. -- Dhvana, 10:24:10 08/03/04 Tue

[> Oh my god, LOL!!!! Since I have nothing else to do, I observe.... -- Dhvana, 11:06:53 08/03/04 Tue

and there's this young guy in the office--well, I don't know, maybe mid to late twenties?--anyway, he cracks me the hell up. He is the biggest kiss-ass I have ever seen! It's hilarious! He sucks up to all the attorneys and to the secretaries who work for the partners, and to, seriously, just about anyone he thinks will help move him up in the world. I'd feel sick if it wasn't so damn funny. I mean, can you imagine the kind of person you'd have to be in order to do that every day of your life??? I feel a bit sorry for him. But mainly I just laugh at him. I thought such people were stereotypes, exaggerations, that they didn't really exist. Guess I was wrong.
