I completely agree with you! When you start pointe work depends entirely on your individual strength & stamina. I started an advanced adult ballet class when I was 16 and was on pointe in about 8 months also. I took several classes a week and was very dedicated. Your teacher will be able to tell you when you can go on pointe, and it never hurts to ask! Good luck!
