As everyone says, pointe shoes depend on the feet of the indivdual. However, I would highly recommend Capezio's Infinita's for the beginner. I don't like to brag, but in these shoes I was moved at the age of 11 into the advanced pointe class with 17-year-olds, and I have never had a blister in my life. Considering how much I struggle in my normal ballet classes, and how much worse I've gotten in pointe since I switched brands, I think this is a good indication of Capezio's high quality.
