Hey- I just wanted to recommend that you try Capezio's for beginning people on pointe. When I first started on pointe 3 years ago, I had Capezio Infinita's. They are really good beginners shoes, which I ended up liking and have been wearing them for the past 3 years. Also, Capezio's have 2 new shoes out. Plies and Tondus. They have Plie I and II's and Tondu I and II. The I and II are for the width. If you try either plies or tondus, and your a beginner, I would go for the tondus because they have are a softer shoe and would be easier to start out with so you can get over your toes, but a plie which many of my friends have, are a harder shoe or like a perfomance shoe. well i just wanted to let you know that I think you should try Capezio's Infinita, Contempera, Plie's, or Tondus. Hope you find a shoe that you like!
-Nicki-
