Hi
I am 16 and going into the 11th grade. I began dancing when I was in the 7th grade. I got to begin dancing on pointe in the end of my 8th grad year I was soo excited. The thing I learned is don't rush the subject. Your teacher knows best and the worst thing would be to get injured. I have seen a few dancers in my class go on pointe not being ready and nearly injured themselves badly. Take you time and do your best.
