Hi,

Well, I've personally been taking ballet for 7 years and I am 13 years old and I'm still not on pointe yet. But I've only been taking one class per week. It depends on how many classes per week in your case. Mabye if you take like 3 or so classes a week you may be ready. Try these "exercises", there good indicators.

*Can you do a 5th position grande pile without wobbling?
* Do you have a natural high demi pointe?
* Do can you balance on demi pointe for at least, say 30 seconds without the barre and a minute without it?

But i'd personally recomend to just ask your teacher if you are ready or not. She would know the best
