The text "Putting up with pain", by CNN San Francisco Reporter Rusty Dornin, is about how dentists think that women handle pain better than men. Researchers think that it is because men don't prepare for pain and when it comes they are surprised. On the other hand, there is a doubt about how to measure the individual pain tolerance, and that women put up with pain better than men but women complain more. The text conclusion is that "we all have to grin and bear it".
