Subject: Reading and Writing 6

Actually, I found many interesting news I would like to read, such as news from crocodiles, which I love to hear or read about, but since I was told to find news from Brazil or South America, I had to focus on that. Therefore, I got interested in news from Machu Picchu, which talked about the discover of another lost city in that area.

As we know Macchu Picchu was an old civilization whose population was very intelligent for that time. Therefore, people, especially explorers, are still very interested on searching and knowing more about it. Since 1912, when it was first discovered, many explorers have been looking for traces to find new cities around Macchu Picchu. For their luck, a new city has been found hidden in the dense jungle, due to new technology or a chance encounter.

When it comes to the good reasons for exploring CNN news, I can say that reading authentic news is the best option students can possibly have. However, I am sure they must be very patients to read all that due to the difficulties they might find. I mean, they have to check up many words in a dictionary, etc. Just like the other reading sites we have seen, CNN also brings students opportunities to choose whatever they are interested in reading.

Written paragraph:

Choosing Rafael Rezende to go to Disney World with me is no doubt the best option I can make. He is the closest brother I have. He is outspoken and fun to be with. Besides, he is an extremely smart, imaginative and friendly person. My brother would make a good travel companion because he would make me laugh all the time. Also, Rafael's beauty would call many people's attention; therefore, they would notice me too. Rafael is always ready to party, especially in a very entertaining place like Disney World. Finally, my husband would not mind if I travel with my brother because he trusts him and knows that he would not let me do anything wrong. Due to all these reasons, I would love traveling to Disney World with my brother.

Observation: I loved following all those steps in order to write my paragraph because they were important and essential to grasp how well one paragraph can be written; besides, how hard hard it is to make one. I mean, it takes a lot of effort when writing a GOOD paragraph.
