The news I have chosen deals with the sexual exploitation of children in Brazil.
After meeting Juan Miguel Petit, U.N. representative on the child sexual exploitation, brazilian Justice Secretary Claudia Dias pronounced that laws need to be modified in order to protect and punish perpetrators of sexual abuses against child.
Petit declared that his visit in Brasil is not an inspection and he met some important representatives of humans rights. The text also mentions the police death squads and their implication on witnesses death, nominated for human rights advocates.
