Looking for an oasis

Now I gotta pretend to be doing something when I really don’t wanna do anything, except eat. Come on! Go now! I’m hungry! Is this shop closing down, is it? The lady in white asks? You hold your rude answer and say ‘yes’ with a forced smile in your face. Yeah, take that one, it’s nice and ugly and cheap too! I wish a had a real job… Hurry! I wanna eat! Why don’t you buy the green one. YOU’LL LOVE IT! Oh no! Here comes another one! What’s going on? Is this a conspiracy against me? For the last time: Would you please kindly get you fat ass out of here! Turn around to see if the woman next to you heard it. Can’t tell. Who cares anyway. Thank you! Glad you went. Now I can eat my TWO- MINUTE NOODLES in peace. That was nice. But now, feeling like you’re in the middle of the desert, desperately you want some water. If only I could find an oasis. Time to go! Give up the oasis and go home instead. You get there and instantly change your mind. But it’s too late now.
Nevermind… we always have to conform. If I keep on searching I shall find it someday, eventually…
