Actually, I am not sure I agree with you. I think what Vera said has a point, it is an opportunity for less proficient students to read the text. However, as a teacher I don't see it as a dream come true to have three different versions to the story since I personally work with the idea that reading the original (or at least something that looks authentic) is much more valid. In time, I also read the three versions but I'm not sure that is true to every student. If you are a teacher, you know that most won't take their time looking for the best one to read.
