Bianca wrote: "The reason I’m exchanging e-mails is because I’m doing an online course in English and ..." and I would say that this information is irrelevant at first because your penpals can feel you don't really wanna make a real friendship with them. You just wanna kind of "use" them, don't you think? I might be wrong, but from the experience I have had, the penpals, who have written to me, have shown a great interest on really being my friends. For this reason, I feel scared on saying that reason above and having a negative response from them. I have one more motive why I'm saying all that, which is the fact that the person I said that has not answered me yet. I don't know... it can be just a coincidence.

Another fact I would like to talk to you about. Actually, I want to ask your opinion is whether we should say we are English teachers or not. What do you think? Once again, I am kind of afraid of saying so and letting them not as confort as they would be if they didn't know anything about it. Once again, I must say why I'm asking you this. Their English are not so good. I mean, it is good for them because I guess that's how they speak in their countries, but of course, we would find many mistakes. However, who am I to judge anybody?

Looking forward to hearing your opinion,
Renata.
