I visited the text called “Marijuana Proposition”.
The text talks about a new law that is been voted at California: sick people can use marijuana as medicine in their treat, if the doctors say that it is okay. But some people are worried because many people that aren’t sick can take advantage of this situation and smoke pot illegally.
This is a good subject to point it at the classroom, but I don’t like this text. Exercises are so boring because the questions don’t take the student to think in a real situation. In fact, I think this text can be used as a point of view. It can be a step to think in our reality, comparing our laws and traditions with the country of the text (U.S), for example.
