Subject: Reading 2

The text I have chosen was “Angels of Mercy”.

The text presents experiences about having deaf nurses in the Mercy Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri. It shows how good and innovated those experiences were, specially May Paxton’s one, a deaf girl who worked for three years at that hospital as a student nurse. Nevertheless, none of the student nurses that had worked there followed their career because of varied reasons such as going to marriage or illness.

I’ve got almost of the questions right. I’ve just got wrong the last question of the “Reading and Questions” part.

I’ve found that site good. The text content is very interesting. In my opinion, it should be better if it has more questions and other types of exercises.

Leda.
