Subject: Monkey's Paw Modernized! (Pt 2) - Sierra

"What tha?" Emma quickly asked herself as she looked very puzzled. "Maybe it's an antique toy." "Come on!", cried the man who invited her to the cookout. "Dance with us!" She happliy joined in and danced along with the rest of the family to the guitar player's music. Thirty minutes later, she decided to go back home. "My mom may be worried.", she said to herself. As she said goodbye, she was asked to take home some extra food. "Would you like to take some food home with you?", the man's wife asked. "I'd love too!", cried Emma. "It's the best BBQ in all of New England!" She was given two shopping bags full of BBQ chicken, ribs, corn on the cob, apple cobler, and a whole chocolate cake. Emma was in complete joy to have enough food to last for additional two weeks. Reaching the house, she bounced inside as her mother and sister looked surprised. "Where did you get all that?", Rebecca asked surprisingly as Mrs Ingram remained wide-eyed. "From an angel!", exclaimed Emma. "A Family of Angels!" "What do you mean?", her mother asked. Emma told them all about the fmily she met. As she continued speaking as Rebecca emptied the bags, the strange hand fell out from it. "What this?!", gasped Rebecca as it startled Mrs Ingram. "I founf it in the woods. I was thinking out selling it.", replied Emma. "it's so strange looking." said Rebecca as she frowned a bit. "Who do you supposed left it there?", asked Mrs Ingram. "I don't know." answered Emma. "Could have been anybody. All I know is we have so much food to last for at least 2 weeks!" "Let me see that thing!", her mother cried. "Kinda creepy. Who would want such an awful thing?", asked Mrs Ingram as she inpected the object. "Someone looking to make money.", Rebecca happily added as she filled her plate with food. "We could use a lot of that.", Her mother replied. "Maybe a million or two." "We could do so much with that!", said Rebecca smilingly. "Try this chicken mom it's so good!", cried Emma. "Best chicken in New England!", Rebecca joyfully replied. Tasting the food, Mrs Ingram happily agreed. "It tastes so good!", she cried. Later on during the evening, the three sat in the living room together as they all watched TV. Along with the program sounds came the sound of heavy, yet soft winds. "It's havy tonight.", said Rebecca as the three of them heard the whistles of the fall air. Seconds later, they heard a big thud noise sound that hit the car. "What was that!?", Rebecca quickly asked while looking heavily startled. Mrs Ingram grabbed the rifle as Emma grabbed a bat. "Stay here." Emma said as Rebecca remained fearful. Mrs Ingram led the hunt as Emma followed behind holding the bat in the air. "Alirght whoever you are, you have 2 seconds to disappear before I start shooting!" demanded Mrs Ingram as Emma looked around. Aiming the rifle in front of her, she proceeded the count. "ONE!" "TWO!" Emma screamed as she witnessed a dead man holding a black briefcase. "Oh my God!!", cried Mrs Ingram. "Emma grabbed her cell phone out of her pocket and called 9/11. What are you doing with that?", her mother asked. "You told me to keep it for emergencies.", answered Emma. Running down the driveway, Rebecca asked "What's wrong?" "Oh My God!", she cried in a panicked manner. "It's a dead man! Who is he?", she continued to ask. "How are we supposed to know?", replied Emma in an annoyed manner. "Aren't you going to check him?", asked Rebecca nervously. "Let's just wait until the police gets here!", instructed Mrs Ingram. "What's in the briefcase?" Rebecca asked. Emma quickly grabbed it to take a look. "No Emma!", her mother ordered. She ignored the warning and checked inside. Inside the briefcase, were stacks of $100 bills separated at values of $10,000. Emma's eyes stretched. "OH MY GOD!!!!!", exclaimed Rebecca in joyful shock as Mrs Ingram fainted. "Put the money inside!", Rebecca cried as Emma hurried to put the money in the house hiding it under a floor board. Afterwards, she hurried outside to help bring her mother inside. "Okay grab her arms while I grab her legs!", cried Emma. Lifting her robust body caused the two of them to lightly stagger into the house. Growing tired, Rebecca accidentally dropped the side she was lifting. "I'm sorry." she quickly said while looking a little guilty. "Help lift her on the couch." replied Emma. Although a little challenging they were both able to play their mother on the couch. "Where did that monry come from?!", asked Rebecca joyfully. "What about the man? Have you forgot about him?", asked Emma sternfully. "I wonder where he came from", asked Rebecca as the medium, heavy winds dominated the house. "Oh no! Here comes the cops!", cried Rebecca. Running out to the body, the two of them thought about what to say. The police pulled up the hill as they both stood by. "Don't say a word about the money!" ordered Emma. "But what if?", Rebecca attempted to ask but was interrupted. "Let me do the talking!", Emma demanded in a whispering tone. They both continued to watch the police drive up the wooded hill. Rebecca looked nervous as she watched the lifeless body on the ground. The man was a brunette white male, 5'10, who appeared to be in his early 40's. He wore a long, dark tan trench coat, khaki pants, a white Polp shirt, gold Rolex watch, and dark brown croc skin shoes.
