Lucky for me I am only contractually obligated to chaperone one dance/coffee house. I pick the coffee house to scout new bands that you guys can go on tour with. The last one I went to had a group that did a cover of Collective Soul's "The World I Know". Bold choice since no one else in attendance besides myself and another teacher had ever heard of it.

I'll set you guys up to headline at the next Coffee House in the fall. Ohhh even better I'll tell them to forget the friend of the friend of the friend of a sophomore who is a DJ for the welcome back dance. He wasn't a real DJ, he just really likes the remix of "Mr. Brightside" he downloaded. You guys are in like flint.

I will be chaperoning the Prom this year. I don't know what the theme is but I bet its totally awesome. My date cancelled on me . So if you'd like to meet some of your fans... it can be arranged.
