Subject: MILLIE THE CROSSING GUARD

My Mom Millie Moheit used to be the Crossing Guard on Rockaway Pkwy From the late 70's till 1999. She also Crossed Kids at P.S. 114 in the late 60's to early 70's.
I just wanted to let my Canarsie friends know my mom passed away on Nov. 15th 2004. She loved Canarsie so much but had to leave when her health failed. She lived in Barryville NY from 1999 to present but always thought of Canarsie as her home. If anyone would like to talk about my mom you can e-mail me or leave a message on her memorial.
