One of the best money saving tips I know of is this.
Pay yourself first. A figure that is quite commonly used is 10%. That is, 10% of all you earn is yours to keep. If just ten percent of everything we earned was put into the back for savings and investments, this alone would add up to quite a sum before very long.
Many would say "I don't have 10% left by the time the bills are paid". Read again, the tip or "rule" is "Pay yourself FIRST" (after taxes of course) then pay your bills and your household neccessities, then your pleasures.
Once you start to pay yourself first, it feels great to know you have something of your hard earned money ging to savings. In most cases, you won't even miss the 10% if you take it off the top, and work with the other 90% to get by on. Hope you can use this tip.
