I understand how hard it is to keep the family going under financial pressure, but hang in there and you can get through this.

You really need to sit down and go over your financial details. Total your income and subtract all your expenses. You will need to track all you spending for at one month to know real expenses. Then you can move on from there.

You really need to get those credit cards under control too. Sometimes the interest charges on those cards can really set one back. I suggest you pay off some of those balances as quick as you can and use the freed up money for upcoming anticipated raise in rent.

Keep your expenses down in the meantime by not spending any money unless it's an essential purchase. Oh, and don't borrow any further!
