I would guess the obvious intention of accusing ST of homosexuality as an insult. I agree that accusing someone of that is an insult since, and you obviously agree, it is an insult to be a homosexual.
Although I don't really believe ST is a homosexual, I agree with you that the poster who calls himself queer is an insult and associating him with any other poster is an insult also.
