The ignition system (we still use breaker pts. - learned how to set them years ago 'cause that's all we had...) has been real reliable over the years. We use the stock timimg specs, and that has shown to be the best for overall power on the dyno for the rpm's we run. It's definitely the gas. We ran 2 different brands this summer, both the same octane, but we now know which was the bad one. They're getting massive cubes out of the 403 Molines & Case's. Just wonder what's been done to those big Oliver 4's. Haven't heard anything about that... And wonder how light you can get one of those early 99's. Kinda glad CPR's not putting a V-8 in that M. I guess I lean towards being a purist. I'd rather see a single-engined V-8 homemade "rail" instead of tearing up a piece of history. Me thinks the legendary "PHANTOM" (don't worry, he might be back...) is happy to hear that... Don't think we'll get the Kinde pictures up this weekend. Reduced the number down to 99. They're ready to go up, but I have to build a couple of pages for them first and link them all together. Have to leave for Kentucky late this afternoon...
