I misunderstood your original post. In the past, plus tractors wound up in the 6000 Go Fast class. I am glad that they added a plus class for tractors with cut tires and/or warmed up engines but not as modified as the Go Fast class tractors.

The 6000 and 7000 classes at Oakley were a pain if you were pulling in both. They wound up pulling both classes at the same time. They told me to weigh up for the 7000 but then they started the 6000 before the 7000. When I finally pulled the 7000 I had to take the weights (bolt on rear wheel) back off to pull the 6000. I could not keep track of what the track for 6000 was doing. I then had to load all the weights back on the tractor to load it. I wound up handling all the weights twice. All of this did not have to happen because they could have pulled the 2750 and 3750 classes on one of the tracks. They had skipped them at the beginning because the track was too wet at the start of the pull. Still it was a beautiful day and the pulling was excellent.

There is supposed to be a two day pull near near Fowler with the Clintonia Pullers. They have a classic class that allows top bar cut tires. Not absolutely sure about the sizes allowed though. I am thinking of giving them a try on one of the days.
