Just got back from my rescue mission. Once in a while I'm able to get home during the week.

The 6000 Plus class was inserted the day of the pull. It wasn't in the Fair Book. The 6000 & 6300 GoFast class were altogether different.

We were out snooping around at a salvage yard about a month ago, looking for a 15.5 tire, and ran across a pair of 16.9 x 34 A/T F&R's on pressed steel. The price was right, but figured I wouldn't need 'em. Would have bought them if Armada said "no cut tires". But I still wonder if that would fix the problem, or find some other reason. I've ran across pulls that resent outsiders showing up. And more so if you've done well there in the past, which has been the case at Armada (not in 2000 - I totally messed up there). I would hope that Armada is not one of those...

We had to be pre-registered, according to the Fair Book. I don't know if they allowed any entries the day of the pull.

I thought about going to Oakley - could run both 6000 and 7000 there, but got too busy around here.

I did find out something that I didn't know before. Andrew and Scott Shoobridge were both running the camcorders. Scott told Andrew that they both had Farmall camcorders. Wondered how he figured that. Well, for one thing, both of them said "HI" (IH backwards) on them. And another thing - Scott's said model 460 and ours 560.

I didn't know Sony made Farmalls...
(I'm just kidding, Scott!!!)
