Take it from a man who has been to egypt 3 times and have spent countless hours at the sphinx enclosure, climbed in the back hole near the buttocks and spent a lot of time between the paws with permjssion from Zahi Hawass and I can tell you first hand that the human head of the sphinx is absoutley ridicolous!!!!!!

It is way out of proportion to the body and a totally different color.... it looks like it was cemented on !!!!

Of course the sphinx originally had a lions head at one time !!!!

The AE's used human bodies with animal heads for there dieties not the other way around !!! LOL.. !!!

If you were to look at buddhist lions guarding the ancient temples in southeast asia, you will get a glimpse of what the sphinx head really looked like....

Right now the sphinx looks like a retarded man lion with a pea head !!!!

It was probably the greels or the romasn who did that horrible job or probably the egyptians themselves when the atlantean priests died off and had no freaken clue what to put there in its place..
