JC, it's quite obvious the head was re-carved without knowing anything about AE.

I can't understand why people believe the AE's purposely made the lion's head smaller than the body on a pretty big scale. I mean c'mon....take a look at the 20th century engineering of the Great Pyramid just near the Sphinx but then they somehow couldn't carve a head the right size in proportion. A 6 year old kid would come to the same conclusion. Its that simple.
