for Bauval's part I assume he regrets that his collaboration with Hancock led to him being labeled an alternate historian catering to New Age Drivel rather than a cutting edge Egyptologist whose research has led him far into the predynastic era of the Egyptian people... searching for the roots of their beliefs.
