Best drug for depression or anxiety I have found in my short 28 year duration on earth is oxygen and a clean system able to make the best of it. Get the heart pumping, eat right (like, for real right...not high sodium "healthy choice" crap you find in the supermarket), and sleep right.

Try a month of running a short 1-2k jog every morning, stick to chicken, fish, brown rice, and green veggies, take a walk after dinner, and you're GUARANTEED to feel emotionally balanced after even two weeks. If you don't, then herbal remedies aren't going to help you, and you'll likely need to see a doc to patch up a few things --> which isn't a bad (or uncommon) thing.

Try the dedicated exercise/eat well/sleep well routine first. In our society it takes effort to feel good, and when you feel good you'll have no desire for the crap that doesn't lend aid to that.
