Subject: Off to go search for Sphinx Rick

Tonight is the night folks. What a beautiful spring evening. The stars are blazing, the milky way is stretching across the sky. Even though it is dark, mt shasta still can be seen from the reflection od stars on her snow. Shooting stars landing on the mountian. The sound of crickets are finally being heard once again. The pease, the serenity, the majic of this place. Just unbeleivable.

I'm leaving in the shadow of darkness becasue I bought a 12 gauge pump just in case of wild cat or bear attack and I don't want to have to cross the street in town holding a 12 gauge pump..lol.

I have the directions to find this socalled sphinx rock and have my sidekick camera fully charged and ready to go. No horse this time around ,its all walkinh and hiking on this journey out.

I'm going to the side on the mountuan that will have no signal so I bid you farewell for now....
