One of the worst and most costly battles for the British during WW2 was the battle of Dunkirk. I know first hand. I was an American reporter who had to take photos of the bloody beach for the Chicago Herald. Not much was left because the Nazi air bombardment was so horrific. But I did manage to salvage a few body parts for the Chicago Herald. I decided to take it back home to America as a war souvenirs. I pickled it and its on my fireplace mantel next to the photo of Princess Diaries's wrecked car and a statue of a Zulu warrior feeding on a Brtish soldiers thigh bone.
