"Peter, I am totally charmed by your reminiscence. I miss my days in Pierpont and the living/learning experiment, as it were. My experience shaped my view of life, and especially my view of education. I wish I could remember more specifics."

You probably could remember more specifics, if you tried. My subjective observation is that my memory (and I assume that it is true of other people) is like a hard drive that has been used for years without being overwritten. Some of the programs have been replaced or upgraded, so there are files that are in formats that are not used by the present programs. The file are stored according to a wierd system, so that to find a file one has to search using key words, but the key word for a given file isn't always what one would expect. The way to remember things is to use key words that are specific to what you want to remember. Plug a name into the search dialog and see what results you get. People'e names are good search terms, but the only way to find out what that name is associated with is to search.

"Oh, my. I do remember that day. My Psych 101 class had a "mock" psychedelic experience in the Cage. Only it wasn't so mock, I guess. What a formative experience for me! :) Perhaps that's when I knew I was destined for a life in the professoriate.

Thanks, I hadn't known where that jug had started. So you think that you wanted to be a good teacher?

"Now, where are the other P-10ers?"

I don't know either. I sent that email to more than a dozen people, the ones whose email address was in my Yahoo addressbook. Chalfen sent it on to several other people. Guenette also emailed me back, but four people who responded.
