We heard the bang as the jumper hit the fender of the 1965 Mustang parked in front of the street side of the tower. It was a warm May? evening. Cat Stevens,Emerson Lake & Palmer, and 'Layla' were broadcasting throughout the SW mall. I believe the jumper was not a student and may have been a High School dropout. Photos were taken but when offered the Collegian declined. I believe another jumper, again non-student, leaped from the Library during a concert. I did not witness that one. I was living in JFK and dating a resident of Pierpont. She would get me a single room the Fall '72
