Subject: Genesis and the yurt

Funny how connections happen. A few weeks ago, I found myself spending a few nights in a yurt in a Canadian provincial park in Ontario, boring my family to tears with reminiscences of magical nights in a long-ago yurt that sat right outside my college dorm. A week later, my work took me to Greenfield, tempting me into a slight detour south, just to drive by and look at Pierpont as it is today. Those events led me to Google, and from Google to here. I am thrilled to find this site, because Pierpont seems to remain a piece of everyone who passes through it.

I was in P10 72-74. Third floor the first year, basement the second. I was part of a group that produced Genesis, the unofficial newspaper of P10. Somewhere in a trunk in my garage remains a stack of them -- great reading and even better illustrations. I "covered" the halloween party one year, which I recall involved a screening of Babes in Toyland. I will dig them out, PDF them and post them to this site.

I also have some photos sent to me by another former resident of Pierpont (and the third floor), Bruce Fredrickson. He tripped across me on the Internet, and sent me some pics that he suspected might include me. They did, along with some rather leafy plants growing in the background and various other mellow looking people. I will try to locate them as well.
