Stef, here's my take on what you had said.

Last month, i watched this asian film called "Leap years" and in it, one of the leads said, "Many people cant wait to fall in love and so they are with someone because they dont want to be alone" It is very true. These days, people hardly wait for "the one" without being in relationships in betweens. and also hardly people ever really stay loving the same person, even if the person had left without trying to moving on with someone else. I mean it might be healthier and all if you try to move on because afterall love is just love. But i think in our modern society, loving one and only one for the whole lifetime is really really rare now. When i lost my first love, i told myself that i will never ever love another again. I mourned that way for 2 years but the pain became unbearable and eventually, i had to learn how to move and and go on with my life without her in it. So yea.
