Even under the influence Ivy could make out the cold, rattling breath coming from above her. Usually, a noise like that would send the young woman leaping to her feet and fleeing down the sidewalk. But not today. The thick confusion of her previously consumed alcohol still held her in it's grasp, and for a few moments, she did not stir. Perhaps in the dazed state Ivy was in, she was feeling quite like a young child in that if she could not see the human or creature before her, it could not see her. When the raspy sound did not cease, Ivy gulped down several deep breaths of air before unsheathing her sapphire eyes to see the being infront of her.

Leather. Black leather. That was all the teenager's eyes came to focus on when they first sought out the individual before her. And then, there was the held out towards her. Ivy had considered reaching out with her own and grasping it. She had gotten so far as to raise it and nearly brush the other's finger tips. But the girl's instincts kicked in, and Ivy snatched her arm back. She was not in some fairy tale where all was well. She was alone, out on the streets, with not just humans for her opponents but other beings such as vampires and demons. Who was to tell which this man was and whether or not his intentions were good?

Ivy struggled to get to her feet, which proved to be a very difficult task, but she eventually managed. Once standing, she leaned her slender frame against the building. Ivy's eyes closed but quickly reopened and peered through her deep crimson locks as if she had forgotten the person before her for a moment. Her face was clear of emotion while she waited for the other's response to her actions.
