Subject: A survey for the masses

1) What is your all-time favortie T.V. show?

Andy Griffith Show

2) What is your favorite food?

Thai food is a fav, but anything spicy will do.

3) Given the choice of wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt or dress pants and a tailored shirt, which type of clothing would you choose?

I'm strictly a blue jeans and tank top/t-shirt kind of person.

4) In your leisure time would you rather visit with friends or stay at home and read.

That depends on the book and the friends! Some times I want to be alone, while other times I desire to be social. Tough question.

5) You're on a deserted island for a year and have one option of musical styles. Which would you choose?
Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Country, Oldies, Christian, Rap or Talk Radio?

This was a very difficult question for me. My first instinct was either pop or jazz, but then again I was leaning toward classical. The only problem w/ classical is that they don't write it anymore. So, given all of those choices, I would probably go with talk radio... for the distant socialization.

6) What is your favorite board game?

I have several, but I'd have to go with Scabble.

7) Do you have a favorite flower?

Um, nope. One flower that I hate is carnations! They remind me of a funeral home. If I had to pick one, it would be tulips.

8) What was the best time of your life?

The best time was a time that I shared with a great friend. However, my bestest time is yet to come. :-)

9) What was the worst time of your life?

When my Daddy died.

If you had to do without one electronic luxury in life, which one would you chose?

Well, I could surely do w/out the VCR, the TV, the puter and, um, well, Liv, I'm going to sacrifice the telephone for the radio. One can't do without music!

Yes! How could one not... it's such a cheerful color.

It's a 3-way tie between All In the Family, The Carol Burnett Show, and Friends. (I guess we can recognize the comedy theme here, huh?)

Ummmm... (or is that "Yummmm"?)... there are just so many good answers! If I had to choose just one, I'd have to say mashed potato. (Comforting stuff!)

Dress pants and bright, bold colorful shirt.

I, too, find huge value in both, but I'd choose "visit with friends" since I stay home all the time now.

I have an eggplant purple painted kitchen, so what does that mean? Me thinks I'm going to have a higher than average number of vegetarians surrounding me throwing squash my way. :-)

And thank you for reminding me of my favorite flower of all time. At the time I read the question, I was thinking looks, not smells. So, to renege on my earlier statement, I would most certainly go with gardenias!

And last but not least (man, oh man, next time I'm just going to cut and paste... sheesh!)

dress pants and tailored shirt.. I've worn jeans & t-shirt for so long that I just love dressing up now

i have to choose? heck.. hmm... let's eliminate country right off and christian second.. hmm.. Rap is ok but I could live without for a year.. classical is amazing but it needs words, Jazz is great but not my fav. Talk radio is ok but I would want to call in to whine along with others, so that's out of the question (for a YEAR? not be able to call in and b-tch?!! no way! I'm insane enough as it is.. don't need to make myself insane-r *giggles*).. Guess I'd have to go with Pop, to keep me dancing..

Boca Burgers, right now. (Veggie burger of a specific variety).

Don’t know yet. That whole time before I was responsible for anything was nice, in retrospect. ;-) But there are definitely flashes of transcendence here and there since then, and I am sure more to come.

I think perhaps it would be easier if I removed all of those devices from my world. I would be most likely to keep the radio.
