Subject: I taught Eddie Salcido's son

I had Eddie Salcido's son in the College Algebra class I taught at RSU this semester. What a hoot! We must be getting old!

It’s been a while since I visited with Eddie, I hope he is doing well. Teresa, we share the common experience of teaching college, although it’s been more than 10 years since I taught computer programming at TJC (TCC whatever). Although stimulating and rewarding, the grind and low pay made me give it up; I was an adjunct instructor. I have always thought that I would do it again someday, if my skills were still viable. How many sections are you teaching?

I've only been teaching 1 night class 2 days a week. However, I get laid off my day job on July 30 so I'm not sure about next semester. They have me on the schedule for 1 night class again. It is VERY rewarding. But, you're right ... low pay. I can't imagine you as a teacher! What a riot!!!
