Was staying at the Hilton a few weeks ago and stood in the car park dreaming of times when my mates and I would go up 'The Bee' when the 16/21 closed for the evening. Was in the 16/21 between 65 & 68. Rode a Goldie ( PO9038 where are you!!)and still dream of those days.
How many of you know that famous picture of the lads sat on the wall outside the Ace were actually Busy Bee lads?
Have many fond memories of the 16/21 and the blokes I used to hang around with.
Cheers,
John
