Date Posted: 15:09:53 01/22/04 Thu In reply to: Daypaw 's message, "~*~*Ashes.*~*~" on 15:08:44 01/22/04 Thu ~*~*a darkness spiraled about the cave as the last of the illusions were released, and your victory held firm. the bird admitted a silent defeat, but to your dismay, the door it guarded did not open. as the creature spoke, Cye fealt no false words about its heart.*~*~ i need to be dead, for that to open. and i am glad. my ancestors before me, and my children after me..... we are all doomed to sit here and take life away..... the Ahr'Teyan's never finished this place before they were sent away. humans finished it, with intentions of cruelty.... so i am happy that i die now. and i am sorry..... for everything. i can not set things right, but i can help you to stop things from happening here in the future, stop the taking of lives from my children..... ~*~*the cavern grew quite a bit larger, into sort of an arena. still, you could not see above a given point.*~*~ still, i must keep to my traditions. i can not allow you to kill me....... not allow you to kill me..... you have to find a way to do it, lest will you be claimed by this place anyways. i trust that you can manage...... and, when you do...... i have an egg up here, an unborn child that will take my place as i pass on. take my child with you-- then there shall be no guardian, and this place will vanish.... this cavern of memories...... it will vanish..... and the memories along with it. ~*~*you understood its words well, and fealt a bit of release knowing that it accepted and longed for death. but now.... how were you going to get to it? you doubted that Kiel'Lora could track it down safely in the dark, and nobody else was truely efficient in flight. then something stirred. you fealt an unearthly warmth drifting into the room, followed by a slow inward drifting of ashes from all corners of the room. ashes..... of what? you stepped out of their way, and looked around rather placidly as a warm light drifted down from nowhere, and deposited people in its place. all of your missing Summoners, returned from their duties- with a few extra people. 4 canine anthrmorphs, all very tall- but all very different. one was blue, one was white, one was red, and one was black. all were very pretty- and wore the same little black outfit that Harmony donned as well- consisting of 2 long sleeves on the arms that never connected to a shirt, but simply crossed the chest and back like a makeshift bra. rather than pants, they wore sashes that hung to the ground around their waists, and little black panties beneath them. actually, they were quite pretty. looming behind the group were two Ravens Tears- demons of old who had tried to kill you in past ages, one an adult and one a child..... but the little one seemed artifical somehow. they both cast their eyes on you, and through calming looks from the returning group, you were assured of your safety. the larger one seemed to figure that introductions were in order.*~*~ Shuin- i am Shuin- you need not know any more about me. the little one there is Avias, a False Being now tied to our group. the other four over there are Goddesses of Old- the blue one is Cronos, the white one is Alimiras, the red one is Akurei, and the black one is Parie. no, we wont kill you or steal your things- and yes, we do realize that we will have issues to work out later. Avias- Scanning..... ~*~*the quiet word came a bit quickly, though the Summoners recognized the thought behind it.*~*~ Avias- Current threat lies with time, time taken to open the door. Killing the guardian here will relieve the need to panic. Guardian- one Luivia, Sapphire Fire Bird, a gifted empath like her mothers before her. She has claimed 3,576 souls to the cave thaqt she guards. Those who escaped her mind tricks often perish regardless, being unable to reach or find her to get out of the cave. ...Intercepted Thought, Unknown Origin- "There is saddness in this cave.... that which rivals the pain left in the wake of death, a genocide.... Saddness which will never vanish, that will endure the pace of ages..... And anger, for what it has done to the frail mortality of all living things." thats all i have... Cronos- DAMN that thing is nifty! Akurei- we had one once..... it was rather pleasant, but i believe that it was one of the many killed when they were banned in the living realms..... i miss him so much.... Shuin- this is hardly the time or place for this.... ~*~*the black dragon/horse/gryphon creature looked up.*~*~ Shuin- i can not fight it..... it carries upon it the virus that drove my kind mad. its blood would spoil me. Avias- awwwww.... ~*~*the little demon curled up beside Shuin.*~*~ Cronos- any ideas? we really cant help..... if we use our power here the spirits will know that we survived... well, they know already, but we have also been trying not to make them angry with us...... killing a guardian might loose us time to get home.
