can the mayor expain to the taxpayers: The slower response time to any calls to the affected areas? Tommy Leighton may be able to justify the decrease in manpower only long enough to see his family and home burn to the ground. Your politics is going to do nothing short of get someone killed during a fire.

You need you be reminded that it wasn't that long after Engine 1 was taken out of service that 3 people parrished during a house fire. I hope you have a clear conscience after some other families die. Your rolling the dice, at some point it will come back to haunt you.

We are professionals and we will make every attempt to get the the life threatenting situation in a timely manner, but with the new policy that obviously can't be guaranteed!

By the way, the people in Northend thank you for leaving an ambulance in the Northeast fire station. They might be able to put out a fire with an extinguisher or two?
