Subject: as the world turns

Here is why people are becoming monday morning quarterbacks. If this document is such a great thing, then why are we recieving memos after the fact to tell us to look into our plan to avoid sticker shock. Why weren't we presented with the true costs of sticker shock before hand? Either during the hundreds of hours spent preparing this document those facts were not known(but that can't be correct cause why would you agree to put something in you didn't know about)or the facts were known and they were deemed to be either not important enough to tell us or perhaps detrimental to to the signing of the document,or they actually did not know the facts about the costs(then that means that they didn't do a good job).
We deserved to have all the facts relating to this presented in a fair, objective manor. With time to consider all the possibilites. That's why the prosecution gets to present it's side as well as the defense. But that was not the case with us,granted we are not in a court of law,but from a common sense point of view that is the fairest way for everyone involved. Not in a 1/2 hour, one sided, here you go,sign on the dotted line.It astounds me about how we were treated. It has affected the lives of hundreds of people, the members, the members families, from a monetary stand point as well as a mental one.Was all of this taken into consideration? When the decisions you make affect hundreds of people across the board from all different social levels, you have to make sure that everyones base is covered and everyone gets the chance to make their own informed decision based on ALL the correct facts, not just a snipet from here and there, and the time to digest those facts to do whats right for them.
Personally with me and my situation, and everything I know as of now I would not of voted yes,if I had the chance again, but I can't turn back the clock now,and I think that's what's fustrating so many people.I think this is a very tough pill to swallow and I hope that this teaches us all a lesson about presenting to everyone involved all the facts with the time to digest. It would be much better if we were a people united, and maybe someday that will happen,as time heals all wounds, but it is a worthwhile goal we should strive for, cause when you think about it all we really have is each other,I guess that's why we are called brothers.God bless us all.
