Subject: Yes, that quote will be in there too. It is sad for Stephan that John can't feel the same level of passion for him that he does for Jamie. John feels bad about it himself. I think everyone will see in the quotes this week that this is only one of the reasons that John holds back his feelings for Stephan. He believes Stephan deserves more than he can give him too.
In reply to: Karen Henry 's message, "Thanks for stepping in, Jane. It was getting awfully quiet around here... Anyway, the thing that strikes me immediately about this quote is the difference in their heights, how Stephan has to bend down to look John in the face. Very much like Jamie and Claire, in fact. And doesn't John think that, at some point (I can't remember if it's in "Succubus"?), that he is attracted to Stephan (at least initially) not for the man himself but because Stephan reminds him, physically at least, of Jamie?" on 03:40:44 02/12/08 Tue
