Subject: It was so funny how he nearly dropped her and his Mom and Minnie looked at him like he couldn't be trusted NOT to. The last line brought tears to my eyes. John struggles with his faith just as I often have. I think he feels a little jealous of Jamie's firm beliefs. Seeing the reflection of God's pure love in his niece's face might have helped him a bit with sorting out those feelings. I sure hope so.
