  • If I hadn't already loved John, I would have after this scene. There's nothing more touching than an adult really listening to a child and respecting what a child says. As a child, nothing was more upsetting than to have a grownup tell me what I said wasn't real or important. Lovely John didn't send the boy back to bed still scared.
