In reply to: Karen 's message, "Jane - I loved that response too :-) So, are you saying you think the Montmorency reference is yet another one of these little details thrown in just in case they might be useful later on? Do you think we'll find out whether there is a connection between Oswald and Claire's family? Or is it possible that it might just be a coincidence that the names are the same? She never did answer that and I'm still wondering." on 01:37:43 01/06/08 Sun

  • That is what I inferred from her response, that she threw it in there along with a "zillion" others, and may or may not use it in the future depending on where the story takes her. I can't help but recall my own personal favorite red herring, the tea cup with the violets, mentioned specifically both at the ridge and in the china cabinet at Bree's childhood home in Boston. I am still convinced we will later find out that Frank found it on a dig at the ridge while investigating Bree and Claire's past there. It's OK, that everyone says I'm nuts, it's another thing I'm in wait and see mode on. (NT) -- Jane, 07:54:31 01/06/08 Sun
