Subject: Yes he is. I like the way the friendship develops. When we meet Harry in Voyager, all the elements of the hard-drinking, womanising, larger-than-life personality are there, drawn very deftly. Yet John does not see him as a friend, mentally calling him a "bullet-headed fool" - although that was partly because he was feeling tense at discovering that Fraser was incarcerated at Ardmuir. He also suspected Harry of enjoying discomfiting him by referring to his past experience with Jamie at Carryarrick. Although again, that could have just been John's perception of it since the episode was so embarrassing to him.
