Hello everyone! I love this board but have been too frazzled lately to keep up: I just back-tracked through your postings and found myself laughing out loud at the wonderful humour (DG's and yours) and struck by your insights. Jessie and I are finally doing Broch Talk again, starting Monday, on the issues of sisterhood in the Outlander series -- because we have all been thinking Deep Thoughts on masculinity and "brotherhood" on the various boards, including this one, in the last 18 months or so. We have suggested readings, of course, but it strikes me that you might have something to say about DG's representation of women's relationships in His Lordship's books too -- just a thought .
