I've a question that isn't really about Custom but relates to it. DD learned about the Plains of Abraham in history and came home to tell me about Simon Fraser, evidently he was even more important than his appearance here, I assume (in real life) he did more later. Is this the same Simon Fraser as the univeristy? Or who was that man? Anyone of you BC folk know this one maybe? Not a big deal, only curious. -- LJG Discussion board

Ursula We were both wrong - or something. Diana has said on the compuserve board that the Simon Fraser from Custom is the same one who died in Echo. Maybe there were 2 Simons at Plains? It doesn't really matter I suppose, I can hardly imgaine that DG would be that lax about research but maybe this is a detail that she didn't consider overly important, I'm not really sure but there you go. I think I googled something regarding this Simon Fraser, and it said that he was a distant relative to the Frasers' of Lovat, thus the distinction of Simon Fraser of Balnain...I have a migraine and my brain is foggy, can't remember accurately.
