Subject: I have a totally random question....

Over the course of the books, Claire has told several people who she really is- the monk at the abbey, Jaime, Frank, Roger, Bree, Ian.

Knowing what they know about the future, and of course, knowing that John and Willie are likely to get embroiled in the coming war, why wouldn't they warn John, at least, of the imminent dangers inherent in siding with the British?

Wouldn't Jaime want to do anything to ensure that Willie comes out of the war...well maybe not alive, since in war there are no promises to either side, but at least on the right end of things?
