I was trying not to push with my youngest. The nurse was in the door screaming for a resident or ANYONE when he came flying out. She didn't have on gloves or scrubs but she flew across the room to catch him like a baseball player sliding into home. Poor thing..I felt so sorry for her. Nurses like her are the world's most under-appreciated and underpaid heroes! DH wasn't about to get himself in the way or take the chance of doing something wrong so he didn't do anything at all. I guess he would have just let the baby fall off the end of the bed if she hadn't made it in time... MEN!
